New Training event: Hack Attacks: Offensive Persistent Techniques and Detection Patterns

We are delighted to announce that the Academic CSIRT (CYNET-CSIRT) is organising a new training event, which will be presented on Wednesday 19th May 2021, from 9:00 to 14:00.

The event is entitled “Hack Attacks: Offensive Persistent Techniques and Detection Patterns” and will, once again, run online. During the training, there will be presentations on methodologies and techniques (offensive and persistent techniques) on how attacks occur, and we will all have the opportunity to watch real attacks on fully upgraded and secured systems. Following this, we will proceed to a hands-on attempt to investigate this type of attack with the use of Memory Image and Event Logs Analysis.   Event Agenda, Zoom link and other details will be provided at a later stage.

Be on the lookout!

Do Save the Date, spread the word within your institution, and get back to us by Monday 17th May 2021 with names and emails of those interested in participating.

Hoping to virtually see you all there,

The CYNET-CSIRT Team
